Connecting partners across the continent for a sustainable hydrogen future.

What we do

Green Hydrogen Network (Africa) works across the full green hydrogen value chain to accelerate knowledge, policy, investment, and project delivery.

Five pillars—from awareness to pilots—describe how we turn strategy into collaboration and bankable projects.

1. Awareness and public engagement

We conduct community outreach, media campaigns, and stakeholder dialogues to build understanding of green hydrogen technologies, benefits, and opportunities—ensuring social acceptance and inclusive participation.

2 Value-chain pillar

Capacity building and training

Webinars, workshops, and professional training for policymakers, engineers, researchers, utilities, and business.

  • Institutions, utilities & private sector
  • Technical skills & policy literacy
  • Project development & financing readiness

We deliver webinars, workshops, and professional training programmes for policymakers, engineers, researchers, utilities, and private-sector actors. Our focus is on technical skills, policy literacy, project development, and financing readiness.

Delivery formats

Practical formats we use to build skills across the network.

  • Webinars and professional workshops
  • Technical training for engineers and planners
  • Policy and regulatory training for public institutions
  • Project development and financing masterclasses

3. Policy advocacy and advisory support

We engage governments and regional institutions to support the development of national hydrogen strategies, regulatory frameworks, and market incentives, aligned with AU Agenda 2063, AfCFTA, and the SDGs.

4. Networking and investment facilitation

We convene networking events, investment forums, and roundtables that connect project developers, technology providers, financiers, and off-takers—unlocking partnerships and accelerating deal flow.

5. Pilot projects and project development

We support feasibility studies, pilot projects, and funding mobilisation, bridging the gap between policy ambition and implementation while demonstrating bankable green hydrogen use cases in Africa.
