We connect policy, industry, finance, and communities across Africa to scale green hydrogen—capacity, pilots, and investment that stick.
Powering Africa's green hydrogen future.

Pan-African platform turning renewable power into real hydrogen projects—policy, skills, pilots, and capital in one network.

Green Hydrogen Network (Africa) is a pan-African platform for a competitive, inclusive green hydrogen economy. We connect communities, industry, government, finance, and research so renewable potential becomes real projects—not just strategy on paper.
Renewables can power electrolysis at scale. Green hydrogen strengthens industry, energy security, and climate action—and lets African countries shape the transition, not only follow it.
Our work supports Agenda 2063 (inclusive growth, sustainable industry, resilient energy) and AfCFTA (regional trade and value chains). Training and outreach build the skills and trust hydrogen needs; policy dialogue helps governments set clear rules; convenings and pilots turn ambition into bankable projects.
That mix advances SDGs 7, 8, 9, and 13—clean energy, decent work, resilient infrastructure, and climate action.
We exist so Africa is not only part of the global energy transition—it helps lead it.
